Bespoke Cab Installation
Once an order has been manufactured and dispatched, most of BMB’s customers require the additional fitting service that we provide for all our products. BMB has an experienced team of technical service engineers who travel throughout the UK and provide our customers with a professional and quality fitting service.
The fitting service is booked by our customers at the time of placing the order and is scheduled within 5 working days following the dispatch of the order. Before attending a customers’ site, our team of customers services and fitters will always make contact with our customers in order to arrange a mutually convenient day and time to attend site and fit the cab.
Our team provides fitting of PVC canopies, screens, combination of both and full steel cabs. For specific truck makes and models and always when requested and agreed in the order, we also offer fitting of electric or water heaters as well as fitting and wiring of wiper kits onto front, top or rear screens.
If the customer truck has an existing cab that is no longer required, our team can also offer a dismantling service which is also arranged as part of the order.
Whilst we recommend that customers engage with BMB’s fitting services, customers are also given the option to purchase a cab excluding our fitting service. Fitting is then the responsibility of the customer.
BMB can also provide a glass replacement service that is subcontracted to a third party glazing company. Please contact us with your specific requirements and we will take care of the rest.
Our fitting engineers work across the UK installing the full steel forklift cab kits we manufacture, as well as PVC canopies and steel screens. For machines that need a custom solution, the 3D scan-to-cab design service runs upstream of fitting. We also handle bespoke industrial cab installations for non-standard vehicles.
