Running vehicles across more than one site always adds a layer of difficulty. A forklift that works well in one warehouse may struggle in a cold yard, a dusty loading area, or a depot with tighter access points. Selecting a cab for a multi-site fleet needs more thought than choosing something that fits one machine.

Standardisation does not mean every cab must be identical.

It means having a clear approach to what stays consistent and what changes by site. You may decide every outdoor forklift needs a minimum level of weather protection, clear visibility, durable screens, and safe access. That becomes the standard. The third operates in a tight yard where visibility is critical, the cab must protect the operator without creating blind spots or awkward access.
